Terms of Use – Nexen Education

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of nexeneducation.com and the services provided by Nexen Education (“Nexen,” “we,” “our”). By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Nexen Education.
  • By registering, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. User Roles

  • Students: Individuals seeking admission, visa support, translation, scholarships, or related services.
  • Agents: Verified service providers offering support to students.
  • Administrators: Nexen staff managing services, compliance, and payments.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
  • You are responsible for keeping login details secure.
  • Nexen reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

4. Services

  • Nexen connects students with verified agents through a secure platform.
  • Nexen acts as an intermediary and escrow service, not as the service provider.
  • Agents are independent contractors, not employees of Nexen.

5. Payments & Escrow

  • All transactions must be completed via Nexen’s escrow system.
  • Funds are held until the service is confirmed as completed.
  • Nexen charges a service fee on each transaction.
  • Refunds are issued in accordance with Nexen’s refund policy.
  • Payments made outside the platform are not protected.

6. Messaging & Communication

  • All communications must occur within Nexen’s internal messaging system.
  • Sharing personal contact information before payment is prohibited.
  • Nexen may monitor communications to ensure compliance.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Provide false or misleading information.
  • Circumvent Nexen’s escrow or payment system.
  • Upload harmful, illegal, or infringing content.
  • Harass, abuse, or exploit other users.
  • Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities.

8. Disputes

  • Disputes between students and agents should first be handled within Nexen’s resolution system.
  • Nexen may mediate and make final decisions on escrow release and refunds.

9. Termination

Nexen may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms.
  • Engage in fraud or abuse.
  • Threaten the safety or integrity of the platform.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content, branding, and software on Nexen Education are owned by Nexen.
  • Users may not copy, modify, or distribute platform content without permission.

11. Liability

  • Nexen provides services “as is.”
  • Nexen does not guarantee the outcome of services provided by agents.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda, where Nexen Education operates.

13. Amendments

Nexen may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
